A bold vintage Danish modernist pendant necklace by Egg Denmark, dating to circa the 1960s.
The oversized round pendant is crafted in silver-tone pewter and designed in a stylized Viking shield or medallion form, with a softly scalloped outer edge and repeating pierced geometric details around the perimeter. At the center is a delicate engraved circular floral or rosette motif, creating an appealing contrast between the substantial Nordic-inspired form and the precise linear decoration.
Measuring just over 2 inches across, the pendant has excellent presence and a wonderfully sculptural quality. It hangs from its original extra-long 28-inch chain, giving it the dramatic, low-slung silhouette so strongly associated with Scandinavian jewelry of the 1960s and 1970s.
The combination of bold scale, simplified geometry and subtle historical inspiration gives the necklace a distinctly Danish Modern feel. It works equally well as a statement piece with minimalist contemporary clothing or as part of a collection of vintage Scandinavian modernist jewelry.
The necklace remains in excellent vintage condition, with only light surface wear and natural patina consistent with age. There is no damage to either the pendant or chain.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
