Striking Austin Productions “Fluid Caress” sculpture, designed by Danel and dated 1998, featuring an elegantly stylized couple captured in a quiet, intimate embrace.
The artist reduces the human figures to beautifully elongated, flowing forms, with the woman leaning gracefully into her companion as he bends toward her. Their bodies appear almost to merge into one continuous composition, creating a wonderful sense of movement, tenderness and connection. Smooth curves contrast beautifully with the sharper architectural folds of the gentleman’s clothing, giving the sculpture a sophisticated modernist quality with subtle Art Deco influence.
Finished in a rich muted bronze-brown tone, the monochromatic surface emphasizes the sculpture's form, shadows and dimensional contours rather than distracting from them. From different angles, the negative space between the figures becomes part of the design, making this an especially attractive piece for display where it can be viewed from several directions.
At an impressive 18 inches tall, “Fluid Caress” has substantial visual presence without overwhelming a room. It would be beautiful displayed on a console, pedestal, bookshelf, fireplace mantel or in a contemporary bedroom or dressing area. Its clean lines work particularly well with Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, contemporary and minimalist interiors.

This sculpture is part of my ongoing restoration collection, created to preserve vintage decorative art and return deserving pieces to beautiful display condition. I have restored over 50 sculptures.

Returns policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable) and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
