Restored Harris Marcus Group “Family” Sculpture — Endeavors Collection, 1990
Elegant and sculptural vintage “Family” figurative sculpture from the Endeavors Collection by Harris Marcus, dated 1990 and identified as model AC 0184.
The composition presents the family as a beautifully simplified group of interconnected figures, rising together in a tall, slender architectural form. Rather than relying on realistic facial features or anatomical detail, the designer uses elongated vertical lines, broad curved shoulders, rounded heads and softly geometric forms to suggest closeness, protection and unity.
The figures appear almost to grow from one another, creating a strong sense of connection while maintaining a remarkably clean and sophisticated silhouette. From the front, the overlapping forms create depth and movement; viewed from the reverse, the sculpture becomes even more abstract and architectural.
At approximately 17.5 inches tall but less than 5 inches wide, it has excellent vertical presence without requiring a large footprint — making it especially attractive for a console, bookshelf, narrow pedestal, mantel or side table.
The sculpture has been fully restored and refinished in a rich metallic bronze tone that emphasizes the smooth contours and sculptural planes. A substantial clear lacquer top coat adds depth to the finish while providing additional surface protection.
Importantly, the original felt underside and identification labels remain intact, preserving the piece’s documented attribution.

Restoration
This sculpture is part of my ongoing restoration collection, created to preserve vintage decorative art and return deserving pieces to beautiful display condition.
The original form has been carefully preserved while the exterior was refinished in a sophisticated metallic bronze and protected with a durable clear lacquer top coat. The original felt base and labels were retained.
The sculpture is now in excellent restored display condition with no chips, cracks or structural damage.
Design & Display: The combination of its narrow profile and substantial height makes “Family” particularly versatile. Its clean, abstract form works beautifully with Mid-Century Modern, Postmodern, Art Deco-inspired, contemporary, transitional and minimalist interiors.
The subject also makes it an especially meaningful piece for a family room, entryway, office, bedroom or gift celebrating family, parenthood or togetherness.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
