Superb sterling silver modernist bracelet and matching earrings by the iconic Italian company, Ippolita. The set was part of the original Classico Collection and the earrings are titled Wavy Circle and the bracelet Wavy Circle Station Bracelet. Each piece has recently been professionally polished and looks practically new. If needed, I would be happy to include a 2" long extension chain at no addition charge.

“Beauty in our everyday lives brings joy to the human experience and fosters a culture of care” Born and raised in the hills of Florence, Ippolita has always been inspired by the richness and simplicity of Italian culture. An artist first and a designer second, she studied 
sculpture and ceramics at the Istituto D’Arte in Florence. After working in bronze and stone on large-scale works, Ippolita was inspired to apply her aesthetic to the world of adornment when she launched her eponymous jewelry collection, IPPOLITA, in 1999 in New York with Bergdorf Goodman.

Ippolita's background in art and design is deeply rooted in her Italian heritage and early experiences.

Born in 1963 in the Tuscan hills near Florence to an American artist mother and an Italian intellectual father.
Discovered a passion for jewelry as a young girl in the shops of Ponte Vecchio.
Studied sculpture and ceramics at the Istituto d'Arte in Florence from 1978 to 1982.

Evolution of Ippolita's Career
Ippolita's career transitioned from dance to jewelry design, showcasing her artistic evolution.

Moved to Los Angeles in 1982 to start an alternative dance company called Rime.
Relocated to New York in 1986, focusing on intimate jewelry design in 18K Gold.
Refined her creative techniques and personal aesthetic into a signature style defined by natural shapes and sculpted forms by 1996.

Launch and Growth of IPPOLITA Brand
The launch of her jewelry collection marked a significant milestone in her career.

In 1999, launched her first fine jewelry collection at Bergdorf Goodman.
Expanded her brand's aesthetic by incorporating color and precious stones in 2004.
Introduced 925 silver to the collection in 2007, broadening her audience.
