Beautiful Couroc of Monterrey California Serving Set. Introduced in their Fall 1966 Catalog along with the Owl set. This Roadrunner set fondly referred to as the Roadrunner running to a cocktail or dinner party. Everything you need for the perfect dinner or cocktail party. The glasses are in mint condition with no 24k gold enamel loss, gold rims fully intact with no chips or damage. All the trays are glossy, shiny and bright with little to no wear on the fronts and very minimal wear to the backsides. The Roadrunner design was one of the company's most iconic designs and highly coveted, more so when it's in such excellent condition as this set is! Set has a total of 8 glasses and 5 serving trays.

Couroc of Monterey was a company that produced glassware and trays in Monterey, California from 1948 until the early 1990s:
Founders: Guthrie Courvoisier and his wife Moira Wallace founded Couroc of Monterey in 1948.
Products:
Couroc of Monterey was known for its black resin trays and glassware, which were made using a proprietary phenolic resin formula that was durable, alcohol-proof, and flame-resistant. The company also used a technique called "inlay," which involved embedding materials like mother of pearl, abalone, and wood into acrylic to create intricate designs.
Couroc of Monterey pieces were known for being both beautiful and functional. Some of their most iconic designs include the Roadrunner collection, which featured a roadrunner running to a cocktail party or dinner party.
Courvoisier's experience with different plastics during World War II, when he produced plastic parts for military aircraft, helped fuel the success of Couroc products.
Couroc of Monterey products were popular and sold in high-end department stores. They were also created for companies to use as gifts, promotions, and more.
