Stunning sterling silver, Banded Agate and Glass bangle bracelet by the iconic French designer Alain Lerolle. The bracelet features a top latch design with geometric shapes and a bezel set Agate gemstone and a square glass cabochon that is dark brown or black, with a lightly iridescent sheen. Overall it is in exceptional condition, but will be given a professionally polishing before shipping. A stunning, rare and highly collectible piece.

Lerolle opened his first gallery in Tréguier (Côtes d'Armor) in the 1970s. ​A designer of contemporary jewelry, he was a pioneer in the use and mastery of titanium. He was particularly interested in graphic and abstract compositions that the use of brooches and pendants allowed him. For many years, he worked with glass, creating totems, and exhibited his works throughout the world.

In the early 90s, he gradually returned to painting, made of geometric abstractions and mixed techniques. Constructed, architectural, composed painting, which is reminiscent of his jewelry creations. He also enjoyed varying the media, by creating decorative objects (boxes, porcelain). His works are regularly present in the sales of major auction houses (Tajan, Pierre Bergé, Aguttes, etc.).
